Bright City

Today’s image was shared by Alan Levine – “I took this photo in August 2010 while visiting the Southbank of London. It was part of Project Morrinho, a public art project where youth from Rio de Janeiro build a miniature city inspired by the landscape and architecture of the favelas that span across the city. These were built from found materials brick, paint and other items. The appeal was the brightness of this scene placed over a background of London architecture, and for what it says about how we can find beauty in unexpected places.”

Today’s poetic form is Haiku. Please submit your poem below.
